DIY Toilet Paper Bunnies

Hey loves!! I had been meaning to upload this post during Easter weekend but we had so much going on, I didn’t get the chance! This is a quick, fun, and easy craft that can be done at home with only a few supplies!

Right now we are all on lockdown with our kiddos and looking for ways to keep them busy! So I thought it would be a good idea to use something that has become a hot commodity right now: TOILET PAPER (or rather, the roll after you’ve used all of your toilet paper). Nothing says “quarantine craft” more than a toilet paper roll DIY! I’ve included all of the deets below! Happy Crafting!

Supplies You’ll Need:

  • Empty toilet paper roll
  • Paint
  • Googly eyes
  • Two different colors of thick paper
  • Pom poms or cotton balls
  • Pipe cleaners

First, take your roll and paint it! We used white acrylic paint because that’s all I had. But you can use a washable kid-friendly paint so your little ones can do it themselves!

Next, use your thick white paper to cut out bunny ears. If your paper is too thin, you can cut out enough so that you can glue 2 white ears together back to back! We had some pink cardstock paper lying around, so that is what we used for the inside of the ears.

Time for the face! Add googly eyes, a pom pom for the nose, and pipe cleaners for the whiskers!

Don’t forget the cotton ball tail!

Draw on a smile and you’re all done!

Now you have an adorable bunny! I hope your quarantine is going well! Thank you so much for reading!
