Hocus Pocus Family Costume

Happy Halloween my pretties! We visited Salem, MA this month so I had to whip up some costumes early this year! Salem is where the infamously spooky Hocus Pocus movie was set and filmed! I decided it was only fitting that we dress up as some of the characters from the movie! I wanted to share exactly where we bought everything and how we put it all together. For the kitty, Luke wore a one-piece pajama from Primary. His beanie is from Amazon. And we just threw on a pair of cat ears we had!

Dani Dennison

Shop this look: Sweats, Shirt, Vest, Boots, & Skirt

For Dani, I used an old black scarf and I poked holes up and down the sides. I then took black, yellow, and orange yarn and tied three strands to each hole. I used different sizes of yarn to create more of a textured look. For the skirt, I took a black tiered skirt and glued on ribbons on each layer to make it look similar to Dani’s from the movie! The red sweats and black turtleneck are from Amazon! The vest is from Spirit. I bought the whole Dani costume from Spirit but only used the vest because I wanted to make it look more authentic! Her hat is just a plain witch hat with black, glittery tulle tied around it and orange ribbon I glued on the rim!

For Sarah, I wore a dress and choker from Spirit! My fishnets are from Party City. My blonde wig is from Amazon. My shoes were some old platform boots I had in my closet, I can’t remember where from though!
